Anand, 35, is a Sr. Consultant with Vernalis. He leads the Performance MAXIMA practice of Vernalis.

He started his career as a Business Intelligence Analyst, working initially in India with Infosys & subsequently in the US with DHL and Spherion-Ranstad. While working in the US, Anand received a scholarship to study MBA specialising in Organisation Behaviour at Cranfield School of Management, one of the top business schools in the UK. After his MBA, Anand turned to management consulting, working on Business Transformation Projects in London. In one such assignment, he was a key member in a project that enabled a large company to return to profitability.

Anand’s Entrepreneurial spirit brought him back to India. He started by offering Performance Management solutions catering to Medium-sized family owned companies. In the process, he conceptualised and developed technology solutions such as People Management toolkit for small companies & a performance management system using Google’s methodology. He was instrumental in deploying these solutions in multiple organisations. He also conducted training to enable these organisations in setting measurable goals, tracking progress, and ensuring objective and fair assessments.

His quest for learning and working with variety of customer segments led Anand to join Vernalis in 2015. Within a short period of time, he became a key member of its diagnostic service and has anchored 2 projects in this area – for a leading restaurant chain and for the largest rubber chemical company in India. The key outcome of these projects was a transformation roadmap to address the key constraint of the organisation and to utilise it’s change levers to ensure success. Anand’s key attributes are his entrepreneurial spirit, a strong learning orientation, and a high degree of professionalism enabling him to balance priorities with multiple stakeholders with ease. He possesses excellent analytical and problem solving skills, is quick to leverage new technologies and concepts. As a trainer, he explains complex solutions in simple terms. Anand is often appreciated for his pleasant and friendly demeanour that puts people around him at ease.

Outside work, Anand is a cycling & running enthusiast. While in the US & the UK, he participated in several long distance cycling & running events. In addition, he enjoys reading, travelling & meeting new people.
